One person found this helpful. I bought this book for a graduate genome class. I will say that it was optional for the class but it is definitely written for the undergraduate level of genetics.
If you are taking a graduate class with this book, think about taking something else or prepare to read many others books to fully understand the material.
The book is great for a basic understanding. Lots of basic info and easy to read and understand. site Edition Verified download. The information is all over the place. I used this txtbk a couple years ago and refer back to it a few times a year to go over basic gene stuff.
What I like about it is that it does a good job of getting to the basic stuff with simple diagrams in my opinion. Easy to read and understand. Some of graduate students might feel it's undergraduate level, but if you are not going into genetics research this one is enough.
